Ceremony at the Antique Boat Museum:
Please arrive by 2:15pm, for a ceremony start time promptly at 2:30pm

Cocktail Hour:
Will immediately follow the ceremony at The Barn at Angel Rock Waterfront Cottages, followed by a reception featuring dinner and dancing!

FAQ

• When is the RSVP deadline?
  Please RSVP using the enclosed RSVP card and pre-addressed/pre-stamped envelope in your invitation suite no later than July 25th. For more information, please see the “RSVP” tab on our wedding website.
• Can I bring a plus one or guest with me?
  If your invitation says “and guest,” then yes! Otherwise, invitations are for those whose names are specifically listed on your invitation envelope so we can celebrate with our closest friends and family. If you have any questions or concerns regarding plus ones, please reach out.
• Are children invited to the wedding?
  Although we love your little ones, this is an adults-only celebration, with the exception of our junior bridesmaid and flower girls. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and celebrating with us!
• What is the dress code?
  We kindly request semi-formal attire, if possible.
• When should I arrive to the ceremony site for the wedding?
  We kindly ask that you arrive by 2:15pm to find your seat on the Ceremony Lawn at the Antique Boat Museum. The ceremony will begin promptly at 2:30pm, so please plan accordingly so you don’t miss anything!
• How do I know where to go on the wedding day?
  The day will begin with the ceremony at the Antique Boat Museum on their Ceremony Lawn, then the cocktail hour and reception following the ceremony will be held at The Barn at Angel Rock Waterfront Cottages. Please see the “Wedding Details” tab on our wedding website for more information.
• Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?
  Great question! Weather permitting, the ceremony will be held outdoors on the Ceremony Lawn right on the River. The reception will be held in a barn venue with an indoor dance floor and dinner tables, as well as an outdoor lawn space where guests can find games, bathrooms, and more!
• Is there parking at the venue?
  Yes! There is parking at both the ceremony and reception sites. At the Antique Boat Museum, there is a parking lot across the street from the museum, as well as additional street parking if you prefer. At Angel Rock, there is a designated parking area to the left of the Deluxe Home. Carpooling is recommended!
• Where should I stay during the wedding weekend?
  There are many beautiful accommodations options in the Cape Vincent and Clayton areas, including where the reception is being held at Angel Rock Waterfront Cottages! Please see the “Travel and Accommodations” tab on our wedding website for more information.
• Where can I find the couple’s wedding registry?
  Gifts are not expected, but are always appreciated! We are registered at The Knot and Amazon. The links to both registries can be found under the “Registry” tab on our website.
• What kind of food will be served?
  Food will be served buffet style, and will feature various options including chicken, beef, fish, salad, and more.
• What if I have a dietary restriction or allergy?
  We are happy to accommodate dietary restrictions and allergies! Please indicate this on your RSVP card or reach out to us directly with this information ASAP so we can ensure it gets passed along to our caterer.
• Will there be an open bar?
  Yes, there will be an open bar with select beer, wine, spirits, and signature cocktails for you to enjoy. Gratuity is added to our final cost at the end of the night, so no need to worry about tipping the bartenders!
• Can I take photos during the ceremony?
  We have hired two photographers and a videographer for our wedding ceremony, so we ask that phones and cameras be put away during the ceremony. However, feel free to take as many photos and videos at the reception as you like and share them using the hashtag #PaquettePairing on social media!
• What else is there to do in the 1000 Islands if I am from out of town?
  
  • A few of our favorite recommendations include: Explore the Antique Boat Museum in Clayton! We HIGHLY recommend arriving early to the wedding ceremony because they will allow you to explore the main museum space beforehand without charge :)
  • Take a cruise on Uncle Sam Boat Tours! Cruise around the American and Canadian waters and catch a tour of Boldt Castle on Heart Island or Singer Castle on Dark Island.
  • Walk around the town in Clayton and Alexandria Bay! There are plenty of restaurants, bars, gift shops, and more along the main strip. They also feature beautiful waterfront views and dock slips if you choose to rent a boat for a day while you visit. The Blues in the Bay event is happening in Alex Bay that weekend as well!
  • Taste some 1000 Islands region wines on a local wine tour! Our favorite wineries include Thousand Islands Winery, Coyote Moon Vineyards, and Bella-Brooke Vineyard. If wine is not your thing, we also recommend Wood Boat Brewery and Dark Island Spirits!
  • Visit historic 1000 Islands lighthouses! We recommend Rock Island Lighthouse State Park near Clayton and Tibbetts Point Lighthouse in Cape Vincent.
  • Explore local parks and islands! Whether you are looking for beaches, hiking trails, fishing, boat rentals, or camping, the area is rich in outdoor amenities. Our favorites are Wellesley Island State Park and Kring Point State Park. Keep an eye out for local ice cream shops and mini golf courses as well!
